Adoption Fees
Cat 6 months and older: $75
Kitten under 6 months: $95
Dog 6 months and older: $120
Puppy under 6 months: $170
What’s Included in your adoption fee: Age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, dewormer, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery.
Payment Types Accepted: Credit or debit card. Not an option for you? You can still adopt! Speak with a staff member for more details.
Thinking About or Ready to Adopt?
1) Complete the brief questionnaire located here: Adoption Application
2) Stop by the Starkville Animal Shelter during business hours to meet our adoptable pets and talk with a staff member who will help find the right pet for you. If you currently own a dog, please contact the shelter ahead of time to schedule a meet and greet with your dog and ours.
3) Once you find your new pet, complete the adoption paperwork.
4) Take your new addition home!
